I got my fourth (I think) Covid vaccine yesterday, and my first ever Flu shot. I went back to Meijer where I got the shingles shot last week. This was even easier. I think I was there maybe 30 seconds and out the door!
My receipt said it would have been $67.25 without insurance. I don't know why I always thought these were free. I dunno.
Both shots were in my left arm, and I didn't really even feel them. My upper arm got a little sore last night and still some this morning, but not as bad as the first couple covid shots or the shingles. I've yet to have any other side effects other than feeling a bit groggy this morning.
Now I just need to get the tetanus shot, though I think I may wait a couple weeks to give my arm a break. Then once my second dose of the shingles vaccine is complete in December/January, I should be good to go on vaccines for awhile.
One thing I'm never sure of is which arm to get shots in. They always say to do it in the one you don't use, except I am sort of both-armed. I do some things with the left and some with the right. For some reason I always do the left. I also only ever speak on the phone with my left ear. I don't know if that's weird or not. I guess it is what it is...

I'm glad you got those shots, especially the Shingles shot Danno. My father has a lot of stories about people who meant to get the Shingles vaccination but were too late.
